- Location and jurisdiction: The Services under Stake are intended only for players located in the United Kingdom. You must not access or use the Services from any jurisdiction where such use is unlawful or where we do not accept customers.
- Age checks: We will carry out age and identity checks using third-party databases. Until verification is successfully completed, we may restrict your ability to deposit, bet, or withdraw and may suspend or close your Account if we cannot verify your age within a reasonable period.
- Underage gambling: If we discover or reasonably suspect that you were under 18 at the time you placed bets, your Account will be closed, all bets may be voided, and any winnings will be forfeited. We may report such matters to the UKGC and other relevant authorities.
Account Creation and Verification (KYC)
- Registration process: To create an Account, you must complete the online registration form on stakega.com, providing a valid email address, a secure password, and any other requested information. You must confirm your email address via the verification process communicated to you.
- Accuracy of information: All information you provide must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must keep it up to date at all times. This includes your name, date of birth, residential address, email address, and payment details.
- KYC documentation: We may request documents including (but not limited to) a copy of your passport or ID card, proof of address, payment method ownership evidence, and source-of-funds/wealth documentation. You agree to provide such documents promptly upon request.
- Account approval: We may suspend, restrict, or close your Account if you fail to provide required information or documentation, or if we have concerns regarding fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions breaches, or safer gambling risks.
- Single account: You may hold only one Account for the Stake Services. Multiple accounts, including those opened with different details, may be closed and any bonuses forfeited. We may, in our discretion, allow one consolidated Account to remain open.
Self-Exclusion and Safer Gambling
- GamStop integration: As a UK-licensed operator, we are integrated with GamStop. If you are registered with GamStop, you must not attempt to use the Services. We will take reasonable steps to identify and prevent you from using the Website while a GamStop self-exclusion is active.
- Internal self-exclusion and tools: We provide safer gambling tools, including deposit limits, reality checks, time-outs, and self-exclusion options. Details are available on stakega.com and may reference resources such as https://gamstop.co.uk and https://begambleaware.org.
- Accuracy for self-excluders: If you provide inaccurate or incomplete details which prevent us or GamStop from identifying your self-exclusion, we cannot be held responsible for any resulting losses, subject always to our statutory responsibilities.
Account Security and Obligations
- Confidential credentials: You must keep your login details and password confidential and not share them with any third party. You are responsible for all activity conducted under your Account unless we have failed to keep your Account information secure.
- Unauthorised access: If you suspect that your Account has been compromised, you must notify us immediately at support@stakega.com and change your password. We may suspend the Account while we investigate.

Betting & Gameplay Rules
General Betting Principles
- Offer and acceptance: A Bet is valid only when accepted and recorded by our servers. Once a Bet has been accepted and a transaction ID generated, it will stand subject to these Terms and the specific rules of the relevant market or Game.
- Minimum and maximum stakes: Each market or Game may specify minimum and maximum stakes. These limits are displayed on the Website or in the Game interface and may vary between events and customers. We may adjust limits at any time.
- Markets and settlement: Bets are settled based on the official results declared by the relevant governing body or game provider. In the absence of an official result, we may use generally accepted industry sources to determine the outcome.
- Rules hierarchies: In the event of conflict, the following order of precedence applies: (1) specific market or Game rules; (2) these Terms; (3) any general sports or casino rules published on stakega.com.
Bet Placement, Modification, and Cancellation
- Bet confirmation: It is your responsibility to check that all details of your Bet are correct before confirming. Once confirmed, Bets cannot be cancelled or changed by you.
- Operator cancellation: We reserve the right to void or cancel all or part of a Bet where: (i) an obvious error (palpable error) has occurred; (ii) the market or Game has been incorrectly priced or set up; (iii) we are required to do so by law, regulation, or the UKGC; or (iv) the Bet is associated with fraud, collusion, or misuse.
- Technical failures: If, due to technical failure, a Bet is not recorded on our systems, it will be deemed not to have been placed. If a Game malfunctions, all affected Bets may be voided and stakes refunded, subject to the rules of the game provider.
- In-play and timing: For in-play markets, Bets accepted after the outcome of an event is known or is reasonably predictable may be voided. Our server time will be decisive.
Gameplay Conduct and Chat Rules
- Fair play: You must not use any unfair advantage such as bots, automated systems, or exploiting software bugs, nor collude with other players. We may void Bets and withhold funds where we reasonably suspect unfair play or cheating.
- Live casino etiquette: In live casino Games, you must behave respectfully towards dealers and other players. Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or harassing behaviour is prohibited and may result in your chat being disabled or your Account being suspended or closed.
- Chat and community features: Any chat or community features on the Website must not be used to advertise, spam, promote illegal activity, or share personal data of others. We may monitor and moderate communications and remove content that breaches these rules.
- Game rules: Each Game may have its own rules and paytables provided by the game provider. By playing, you agree to those rules, which form part of these Terms to the extent applicable.
Bonus Terms
General Bonus Conditions
- Promotional terms: Each Bonus or Promotion will be subject to specific terms and conditions, which will be made available on stakega.com or within the relevant promotional communication. In the event of conflict, specific promotional terms prevail over these general Bonus Terms.
- Eligibility: Bonuses are intended for recreational players only and may be limited by location, payment method, or other criteria. We may exclude certain players or groups at our discretion where required for regulatory, risk, or responsible gambling reasons.
- Abuse and irregular play: We may withhold, cancel, or reclaim Bonuses and associated winnings where we reasonably suspect abuse, including multiple account use, collusion, low-risk betting strategies, or any play that contravenes the spirit of the promotion.
Activation, Wagering Requirements, and Timeframes
- Activation: Some Bonuses are credited automatically; others require an opt-in or entry of a bonus code. Activation requirements will be explained in the relevant promotional terms.
- Wagering requirements: Unless stated otherwise, Bonus funds and any winnings derived from them must be wagered a specified number of times (for example, 20x the Bonus amount) before they can be withdrawn. Contributions to wagering requirements may differ by Game type.
- Time limits: Bonuses and free spins are usually subject to an expiry period (for example, 7 - 30 days) from the date of credit. If wagering requirements are not met within the stated period, the Bonus and any associated winnings may be removed. Any such periods referenced in promotional materials during 2026 will not extend beyond 31 December 2026 unless expressly stated.
- Maximum stakes and winnings: We may impose maximum bet sizes when using Bonus funds (for example, a limit per spin or hand) and caps on the amount that can be won or withdrawn from certain Promotions. These limits will be set out in the relevant promotional terms.
Prohibited Games and Actions
- Restricted Games: Certain Games or Game categories (for example, some slots, table games, or jackpot Games) may be excluded from fulfilling wagering requirements or may only partially contribute. The applicable list will be stated in the promotional terms.
- Game pattern restrictions: Practices such as low-risk betting (e.g. betting on red and black simultaneously), minimal risk wagering, or any similar strategies designed to complete wagering requirements without genuine risk may be considered Bonus abuse.
- Bonus stacking: Unless explicitly permitted, only one active Bonus or Promotion may apply to your Account at any time. Bonuses cannot usually be combined, and wagering on one Bonus may not count toward another.
Payments & Withdrawals
Deposits
- Payment methods: We may make available various deposit methods, including debit cards, certain e-wallets, bank transfers, and, where permitted and offered, selected cryptocurrencies. Availability depends on your location, verification status, and regulatory requirements.
- Ownership of payment methods: You may only use payment methods held in your own name. Deposits from third-party accounts (including business accounts) are not permitted. We may request documentation to verify ownership.
- Deposit limits: Minimum and maximum deposit amounts vary by payment method and will be displayed in the cashier section. You may set lower personal deposit limits using our safer gambling tools.
- Fees and currency: We may not charge deposit fees, but your bank, payment provider, or crypto service may impose charges or currency conversion costs. Any such fees are your responsibility.
Withdrawals
- Withdrawal methods and routing: Where possible, withdrawals will be processed to the same payment method used for deposits, subject to applicable regulations, security checks, and technical availability.
- Processing times: We aim to review and process withdrawals promptly. Many withdrawals will be processed within 1 - 3 Business Days, but some may take longer (for example, up to 5 Business Days) due to verification checks, banking processes, or regulatory requirements.
- Verification before payout: We may require KYC and source-of-funds documentation before processing withdrawals. If you do not provide requested documents, we may cancel or delay withdrawals and may suspend your Account.
- Limits and fees: Minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts and any applicable fees will be shown in the cashier section. We may adjust these from time to time, provided that any changes will not retroactively affect pending, duly requested withdrawals.
Cryptocurrency-Related Considerations
- Regulatory constraints: Where cryptocurrencies are accepted for UK players, their use will be subject to additional regulatory, AML, and risk controls. We may limit or discontinue crypto deposits or withdrawals where required by law or the UKGC.
- Exchange rates and volatility: If we convert between fiat and crypto, conversion rates and timing of conversion may affect the value of your balance. We are not responsible for any losses arising from market volatility, subject to our obligations under applicable law.
Refunds, Chargebacks, and Reversal of Transactions
- Refunds: Deposits will generally not be refunded once used for betting or gaming. In exceptional circumstances (for example, technical errors or confirmed unauthorized use), we may, at our discretion and subject to legal obligations, refund certain amounts.
- Chargebacks: You must not request chargebacks or cancel payments without legitimate reason. If a chargeback occurs, we may suspend or close your Account, void Bets, and recover any amounts due, including our reasonable costs.
- Void bets and malfunction: If a Bet is voided due to an error or malfunction, your stake will normally be returned to your Account. If Bonus funds were used, the Bonus will be reinstated where practicable.
Customer Funds Protection
- Segregation level: Customer funds are held in accounts separate from our corporate funds and are managed in accordance with the UKGC's requirements for a medium level of customer funds protection. This means that, in the event of insolvency, there is some degree of protection, but not absolute security.
- Insolvency risk disclosure: Further details of how customer funds are protected can be found via the UK Gambling Commission's website and public guidance. By using the Services, you acknowledge and accept the level of customer funds protection described above.
Limitation of Liability
Our Obligations
- Fairness and integrity: We will operate the Services with reasonable skill and care and in accordance with our UKGC licence. Games are provided by reputable third-party suppliers whose products are designed to be fair, and many are independently tested.
- Accuracy of results: We will use reasonable efforts to ensure that bet settlement, Game outcomes, account balances, and transaction histories are recorded and displayed accurately on the Website. In the event of any discrepancy, our internal records will normally prevail, subject to audit and regulatory oversight.
Exclusions and Limitations
- No guarantee of uninterrupted service: The Website and Services are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that access will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free, nor that defects will always be corrected immediately.
- Technical failures and third parties: We are not liable for losses arising from failures of telecommunications, the internet, your hardware or software, or third-party services beyond our reasonable control, including delays or failures in deposits or withdrawals caused by banks or payment providers.
- Maximum liability: Subject to the paragraph below, our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Website, the Services, or these Terms (whether in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise) shall be limited to: (i) the amount of the Bet in dispute; or (ii) where the dispute does not relate to a specific Bet, the lesser of your net deposits to the Account over the preceding six (6) months and GBP £10,000.
- Non-excludable liability: Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Your Responsibility
- Responsible gambling: You are responsible for ensuring that you gamble within your means and that you understand the risks associated with gambling. Information and support are available at https://begambleaware.org and https://gamstop.co.uk.
- Losses: You accept that you may lose money when gambling and that you are fully responsible for such losses, except where caused directly by our breach of these Terms or applicable law.
Intellectual Property Rights
Ownership
- Website content: All intellectual property rights in the Website and Services, including but not limited to software, source code, design, text, graphics, logos (including the Stake brand), trademarks, audio-visual content, and interfaces, are owned by or licensed to the Operator and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
- Third-party content: Game content and other materials licensed from third-party providers remain the property of those providers and are used by us under licence.

Changes to Terms
Amendments
- Right to modify: We may amend these Terms, including for legal, regulatory, technical, or business reasons, or to reflect changes to the Services or our UKGC licence conditions.

Bonus funds and incomplete wagering will ordinarily be forfeited.
